- Detached family houses
- Multiple occupancy houses
- Residential apartments
- Building land intended for such structures
Acquisition of the following is excluded from the obligation to obtain a permit pursuant to BewG
- Principal abode (also see Principal abode)
- Second home by an EU or EFTA international commuter (also see Second home)
- Apartments that on an exceptional basis are acquired together with the real estate of a permanent establishment (also see Real estate for permanent establishment)
